Gorgeous evening. Huge tent and tele allowed everyone to watch Portugal vs Czech Republic over our shoulders(fortunately muted) while we danced. Mixed and relaxed crowd enjoying the enormous garden and enjoying our performance.

Morris is amazing, each performance unique and you never quite know what you will get. Some evenings are pure gold, when all the elements of the performance come together with a glorious result. This was not one of those evenings…. :).

David’s birthday celebration, big round generally subsidised by the land lord. Thank you.

Wadworth’s Horizon was very nice….

Performers

Aidan Hardy, Andy Pobjoy, Mike Clarke, Pete De Courcy,  David Wright, Paul Lethbridge,  Baz Crossman, Phil Goddard in civvies, Tim Lloyd, Ian Sutherland, Ian Young, Ross Healey, Robin Acreman in civvies. Nag.

Additional event! A stalwart team of seven attended a 5th Frimley ‘Brownies and Dads’ event at St Francis in Frimley on 12th June. We were surprised to see 23 brownies and 23 equally surprised dads (who had no idea that they would be dancing the morris this evening!) plus many helpers in the car park.

A fun, noisy evening followed as we talked, demonstrated and then taught Bonnie Green Garters and Shepherd’s Hey. We hope to see some of the dads again…..

A great evening was finished by an amusingly inane game where everyone was encouraged to ‘pass the didgeridoo’. Brilliant!
