The sun shone and the crowds assembled for our traditional Boxing Day outing of dance and Mummers.
The audiences this year were probably the biggest we have ever seen on a Boxing Day. It’s great to have so many followers who enjoy our performances.
The Squire put together a nice selection of dances including our Christmas specials – Good King Wenceslas (Landlord), Little Town of Bethlehem (Balance the Straw), The Holly & The Ivy (Quaker). All were well received and nice to see the audience singing along as we performed.
Sadly, our Horse was not feeling well so didn’t make an appearance this time but our Fool (Peter D’C) did a splendid job keeping the punters laughing and smiling.
A special mention goes to The Dog & Partridge (our home pub) for their splendid hospitality in keeping all the performers well refreshed.
