Gorgeous evening outside our ‘home’, the D&P with the equally gorgeous Kennet Morris Men, a rarely seen phrase indeed…. A good crowd with a strong morris flavour.
YMM were short on numbers and regularly press-ganged KMM to make up a set – especially Hon Fool One, Peter De Courcy (looking particularly garish tonight). Mixed sets, always entertaining… Vandals, Lichfield always fun as a mish-mash. A great evening, a very large KMM contingent were in good, rumbustious form – noise and engaging. Dobbin also in good form!
YMM’s dancing was a little ragged in places, ‘Shooting’, Adderbury is very unforgiving! Keith, still resplendent in his new kit, doing reet guid – as they say in Scotland. The walking wounded remained supportive, aaah…
PDC’s significant birthday was celebrated with what might pass for singing AND a huge cake which provided seconds for our resident gannet Chris.
