Local, Well advertised, nice evening – tiny but enthusiastic audience. We wonder why?
Some excellent dancing, also some dances that will need some work during our forthcoming practice sessions. We welcome new members to join us, dancers and musicians, no prior experience required just a willingness to have good times in great places. Get in touch if you are interested.
Beautiful evening sun at the F&W, with an another excellent turnout from our lovely WAGs. ‘Ring O’ Bells’ was a bit dodgy but caused great merriment amongst the dancers – check the photos out! A rare outing for the ‘Balance the Straw’ was much better.
Onto the D&P, our home pub, greeted by the friendly and hardworking staff, thanks for your patience! Dusk well fallen by now, we happily thrashed away to a small but happy audience on the green. Our flag dance ‘Maid of the Mill’, Ilmington was particularly amusing! The foreman will have his work cut out with this one.
Off inside for a noisy music sess led by Ian and Gunther and Clare.
Picks of the week, Rebellion IPA and Balance the Straw.
Last Tuesday of our dance season next week, our traditional spot at the Fox & Goose, Greywell. Coming up soon, our regular weekend at Highclere House of Downton Abbey fame.
